Rohit is currently employed by The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta and holds the position of Global Strategic Procurement Director. He has been working for Coca- Cola for 23 years and is in his current position since 2014.

His current responsibilities include leading the Beverage Gases Category across the franchise bottlers of Coca-Cola around the world. Leading the category means:

• managing a spend of $350MM,
• developing a cost-effective, robust and secure supply chain,
• building strategic supplier relationships and
• drive innovations.

He started his career with Coca-Cola India in packaging innovation, commercialization and technical operations in 1995. It was best time to be in Coca-Cola India as the business was transforming from a fragmented bottler system to a consolidated Company owned bottling structure. Beverage category was at cusp of explosive growth with new packages, product launches and category expansion. He then moved to Coca-Cola’s Corporate R&D and Packaging Innovation function in Atlanta. From that role he switched to Global Procurement starting with sourcing of Plastics for Closures and Labels.

Prior to Coca-Cola he has worked in Quality Management, Technical Operations in heavy engineering, Computer Systems, Glass manufacturing and management consulting.

He is an engineering graduate, has specialized in Statistical Quality Control, Reliability engineering and Operations Management, and later acquired a management degree
