Ravi Subramanian joined Gardner Cryogenics in 1995 as design engineer. As a member of Gardner’s engineering team, he was involved in designing and developing various liquid helium static storage and transportable containers. A few notable designs included the 15,000-gallon portable container for domestic liquid helium transportation and the 4,830-gallon low heat container to support scientific research in the South Pole where the container of helium needed to last 240 days due to the lack of transportation into or out of the region.
From engineering to the commercial side of the business, Subramanian has held a variety of roles over his near 28 -year tenure with Gardner Cryogenics and its parent company. In 2019, Subramanian assumed both commercial and technical responsibility to support Gardner expansion, business growth and new products development.
