Nick Snyder founded North American Helium in 2013, inspired by his father’s work on fusion-fission hybrid nuclear reactors and his Great Uncle “Pete” Conrad’s (the third man on the moon) post-NASA work on reusable rockets—both vital technologies that are at risk without a growing, sustainable supply of helium.
Over the last 10 years, Snyder and his team have grown North American Helium into the largest helium exploration and production company focused on non-hydrocarbon helium supply, with seven production facilities online and over nine million acres of helium rights.
Snyder was previously a principal at USRG and president of Morris Snyder Asset Management, where he concentrated on investments in the resource sector. He is a graduate of Duke University.
