Mohammed Al-Kubaisi is the Head of Helium Sales at Qatargas, responsible for all helium sales, marketing and commercial operations. Established in 1984, Qatargas develops, produces, and markets hydrocarbons from the world’s largest non-associated natural gas field. In addition to producing LNG, Qatargas is also a leading exporter of natural gas, helium, condensate and associated products.

Al-Kubaisi joined RasGas in 2005, and has held various engineering, operational and marketing roles, working both at Ras Laffan Industrial City and in Doha, Qatar. He has worked across a number of products, including sulphur, LPGs, LNG and helium. Since the merger of RasGas and Qatargas in 2018, Al-Kubaisi has held the position of Head of Helium Sales, overseeing the team responsible for the marketing, implementation and administration of all helium sales and associated commercial agreements.

Al-Kubaisi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Qatar University.
