Marinus van Driel is Chief Executive Officer of HyGear, one of the world’s leading companies in on-site gas production and delivery. Marinus van Driel graduated in Fuel Cell research from his master Materials Science and Engineering at the Delft University of Technology and earned his MBA at RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

After working at several engineering and production companies in various technical and commercial positions, he became General Manager of the European division of the American company Plug Power. In 2002, he started his own company called Hexion, currently known as HyGear. As CEO at HyGear, he is responsible for general management, finance & administration and business development.
