Gary Robson has worked in the beverage industry for 25 years, specialising in the control of contamination in liquids and gases, specialising in CO2 . Robson is currently employed by Unisensor Sensorsysteme GmbH, a Germany-based manufacturer  of advanced infrared spectrometers for the on-line analysis of CO2 quality.

In addition to his role at Unisensor, Robson is also Managing Director for Sure Purity Ltd., which manufacturers the CARBOGUARD range of multi-stage CO2 polishing filters for the beverage manufacturing industry. CARBOGUARD offers the greatest level of protection from trace impurities found in CO2. In the event of a quality incident, the system will protect the beverage company from impurity excursions of up to 10 times the limits set by EIGA, ISBT and company specifications.

Robson has been a member of the ISBT for 20 years and has held various roles, including technical committee chair, co-hair of the organising committee for the Regional Bevtech groups in Europe and Latin America.
