Ed Hotard is Chairman of SIAD Americas, LLC and a Senior Advisor to SIAD S.p.A,. an Italian industrial gases and engineered equipment company. Hotard advises on technology, energy transition, and growth opportunities and is leading SIAD Macchine Impianti’s entry into the US and the Americas markets.

Hotard is a skilled business leader with extensive worldwide experience, having led a large America-based corporation operating globally. His career also includes having served as a venture partner in an early-stage technology venture firm, senior advisor to a large global private equity fund, operating partner in a mid-sized private equity fund and chairman of the China office for a global management consulting firm. He has also served as an independent director on the boards of 19 private, public and state-owned companies in the US, Europe and Asia.
