Alvin is the Director and Co-Founder of PT Cryo Services Indonesia, established in 2008. Prior to this he was the Senior Manager of Industrial Products at PT BOC Gases Indonesia from 1993-2007, and also worked for PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia in 1992.

He was part of the Indonesia Industrial Gases Association from 2002-2007, and the Indonesia Welding Association from 1994-1996.

Alvin was educated at the Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung in 1991, studying Metallurgical Mining. He also studied Strategic Management at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 1996.
