It is with deep regret that we are rescheduling our European Industrial Gas Summit in Budapest (26th-27th April 2022).
There is still sizable anxiety around rising COVID cases across the globe and complexities of international travel policies and restrictions. These concerns coupled with the unprecedented and unpredictable situation in Ukraine are concerns we cannot ignore.
Many of you know us well and have long standing relationships with us. This is why our primary obligation has always been to ensure the wellbeing of our attendees, sponsors and exhibitors, a responsibility we take with utmost seriousness.
We have to show due diligence to the city of Budapest, the team at the Anantara New York Palace hotel and the wider industrial gas community.
This decision has been taken painstakingly. Our events are our showcase, our opportunity to come together in person with our customers. It is only right that we host our events when we are confident of delivering a safe and successful occasion for all involved.
We should, however, focus on the word “reschedule”! We are not cancelling the summit; the show must go on! We will announce new dates for this event with a fresh agenda.
We’d like to reiterate that once again; we’ve been overwhelmed by the continued support from the industrial gas industry. Your continued investment and commitment to gasworld’s summits and events is what drives us to be at the heart of the industrial gas industry.
Thank you again for your support and understanding. Our team will be in touch with you shortly to discuss your situation and how we can best serve your needs going forward.

Formerly the Hungarian headquarters of the New York Life Insurance Company, the New York Palace seamlessly links 19th-century Budapest with the energetic, artistic city of today. You’ll discover this cultural crossover at our legendary New York Café where, surrounded by Belle Époque frescoes, marble and brocade, the atmosphere feels intriguingly contemporary and creative.
The 5 Star Luxury New York Palace Hotel is situated in the centre of Budapest, just a stone’s throw from the Blaha Lujza underground stop.
